Network Performance standardizes on Allot's NetEnforcer Traffic Management Offerings

Minneapolis, MN – June 3, 2004

Allot Communications, the Traffic Management Company, today announced that Network Performance Inc. (NPI), the premier Northern New England provider of computer networks and security services, has selected Allot's NetEnforcer as the network monitoring and traffic management solution of choice for its clients.

NPI specializes in configuring and installing secure, fault-tolerant, high-performance networks for a variety of clients throughout New England. NPI is partnering with Allot to provide network traffic management capabilities that enable NPI's clients to monitor their networks, prioritize the allocation of bandwidth for business-critical applications, control peer-to-peer traffic, and increase network performance without having to upgrade their networks, or deny employees access to recreational applications.

NPI is also leveraging NetEnforcer's monitoring capabilities to provide clients with a bandwidth analysis service, which provides a quick "snapshot" of network traffic to help network administrators understand their traffic flows in a quick and affordable manner. Allot's NetEnforcer features more than 100 graphs, which provide a granular view of network traffic, for analyzing server loads, and identifying network bottlenecks by application, protocol or user.

"Partnering with Allot has provided immediate value to our business, and to our customers, who have either purchased NetEnforcer appliances for their networks, or utilized our bandwidth analysis services," said John Burton, President of NPI. "We looked into partnering with other traffic management vendors - specifically Packeteer - but we felt that Allot provided superior products, better support, and a greater overall value to our customers."

"NPI has been helping enterprise companies solve complex security and networking issues for more than a decade, and we're thrilled that they're offering our monitoring and traffic management solutions to their customers as part of our channel organization," said Larry Schmidt, vice president of Sales and Channels for Allot Communications. "We look forward to a lasting and productive relationship with NPI to continue to address their customer's needs."
